While some of the art forms in this category have been around for centuries, such as music, dance, and drama, others are relatively new, such a performance art. Regardless the format, the performing arts have a lot to teach us about who we are as humans. Initial Post Instructions Music, movies, TV, plays, musicals, and almost all forms of the performing arts elicit emotions. For your initial post, address the following: In what ways do the performing arts reflect emotions? In what ways do they shape emotions? This requires more than just an opinion. There is some interesting science behind the connection. Use your developing research skills to find and cite at least 3 sources to support your answer. Secondary Post Instructions Respond to your classmates by evaluating not just their posts, but also the sources they cite.
